3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and safe assembly, the customer must:

Site Suitability:

•    Ensure the chosen site is flat, level, and stable.

•    Recommended surfaces include patios, decking, or other hard, level surfaces.

•    Not Recommended: Lawns, grass, gravel, or uneven ground.

•    GeoDomeX domes are designed for typical weather conditions.

•    Customers are responsible for assessing whether the installation site is suitable for the dome, especially in areas prone to high winds.

•    GeoDomeX and its third-party installers assume no responsibility for wind-related damage or the suitability of the dome for a specific location.

Site Access:

•    Ensure that the site is clear and accessible on the scheduled day.

•    Allow space for tools and dome components during assembly.

Site Safety:

•    Check for underground services (e.g., water pipes, gas lines, electrical cables) that may be impacted by anchoring.

•    GeoDomeX and the third-party installer are not responsible for damage to underground utilities.

•    Damage to Surrounding Areas: Any damage to surrounding areas or items during installation is the customer’s responsibility.

•    Customers should clear and protect nearby objects and surfaces before installation.

Permission and Compliance:

•    Verify that your chosen installation site meets any local regulations or requirements.

•    Obtain any necessary permits if required by local authorities.

4. Installation Requirements

Surface Requirements:

•    The surface where GeoDomeX is installed must be:

•    Flat and Level: To ensure stability and safety.

•    Hard and Durable: Patios and decking are ideal.

•    Avoid Soft or Loose Ground: Lawns, gravel, and uneven terrains may compromise the integrity of the dome.

Access for Installation:

•    Clear the area of any obstacles, debris, or personal belongings.

•    Ensure there is adequate room for the installers to work.

Pre-Installation and Post-Installation Check:

•    The installer may assess the site upon arrival. If the site is deemed unsuitable, the customer may be required to reschedule after making necessary adjustments.

•    Any queries or issues related to the installation must be raised and addressed during the visit. Any follow-up visits may incur additional charges at the discretion of the third-party installer.

Customer Verification:

•    Before the installers leave, the customer must:

•    Verify the proper function of the door, windows, and anchoring.

•    Raise any issues immediately and ensure they are documented and resolved before departure.

•    If any panels are accidentally damaged during installation, it must be noted, photographed, and reported to the installers before they leave. Any issues reported after the team has departed will be considered as occurring post-installation.

5. Claims and Liability

Customer Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the site is suitable prior to installation. GeoDomeX and its third-party installers are not liable for any damage to the installation site, underground utilities, or surrounding areas.

Installation Limitations:

If the surface is found to be unsuitable on arrival, the installer may refuse to proceed, and a rebooking fee may apply.

Third-Party Liability:

Since the installation is performed by third-party installers, GeoDomeX is not directly liable for the quality or outcome of the assembly.

Post-Installation Responsibility:

Once the product is built and installed, GeoDomeX returns or refunds cannot be issued, as the product is considered used and in an unresealable condition.

Extreme Weather Conditions:

•    The customer acknowledges that GeoDomeX is designed for typical weather conditions.

•    High winds, extreme weather, or adverse conditions are not covered by the warranty or GeoDomeX’s liability.

•    Customers must take precautions to protect the dome in unfavourable weather.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled installation may incur a fee.

Rescheduling:

To change your installation date, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance.

7. Disclaimer

GeoDomeX provides the assembly service through trusted third-party installers who are experienced with GeoDomeX products. However, since they are not direct employees of GeoDomeX, any disputes or issues related to the installation should be directed to customer support for mediation.

GeoDomeX reserves the right to update or change these terms without prior notice.

By purchasing the assembly service and agreeing to continue with the installation, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions, and assumes full responsibility for ensuring site suitability and compliance.
